About Me

Hi!

My name is Jon and this is my blog where I document things I have worked on at my day job as a software developer and on personal projects.

Some things that I enjoy:

• Reading technical documentation (honestly, I really do enjoy it!).
• Learning new (as in new to me) technology deeply - see above item!
• Building websites and web applications.
  • Even better, doing it with the technology of yore because it is still so good and probably could still be used for the majority of web projects (with a little htmx sprinkled in).
  • I still love React too though :)
• Working on the full software stack - although lately my roles have been leaning heavily towards UI.

In my spare time I enjoy watching sci fi and horror movies and even better sci fi horror movies like the best movie ever, occasionally moving to stay fit, traveling to interesting cities to eat all the best vegan food, playing Gloomhaven, and more!
